Eric and I went to check on the kids and tuck them in before we went to bed. Well, Spencer had climb into Garrett's crib and fell asleep. They slept together all night. We did straighten them out so they would have more room.

We asked Spencer to put his toys away before he went to bed. This is how he puts his toys away. I guess he thought they all belong on the couch.

While Mom and Dad were packing the last things for our move to Boise, Spencer found some pens in the truck and colored on my face. Luckliy it washed off.

Garrett and his cousin Maylia are sharing their first birthday together. They were both born in September. The theme was ladybugs and bumble bees.

Ever since Spencer has been afraid of "scary monsters" (we are not sure how he learned of monsters), he has had trouble falling asleep in his bed. We have found him asleep in an array of strange places.

Now, there is a true "Rocker". Look for Garrett's first CD in a couple of years.

Boise Temple

We arrived in Boise area Saturday night. After church on Sunday, we made a visit to the Boise temple. The word "temple" is now a part of Spencer's vocabulary.

More Boise

After sharing shaved ice we went on a paddle boat and Spencer decided to take over on steering. I'm not sure what they put in the shaved ice, but he kept steering us into the banks.

Spokane, WA

We had fun at Riverfront Park in downtown Spokane.

Seattle, WA

Spencer had fun on the boat ride from Seattle to Tillicum Village on Blake Island. At Tillicum Village we enjoyed a traditional American Indian dinner while watching a presentation on American Indian folklore. Unfortunately, our camera batteries died at the village, thus no pictures.

Tacoma, WA

A visit to Point Defiance Zoo resulted in a friendly peacock for Garrett. Spencer enjoyed all the animals, especially the elephants, which he quickly recognized from his "Animal Adeventures" video.

Long Beach, WA

Long Beach, Washington is the Kite Capital of the world. Here's Spencer's first shot at flying a kite, and the strong winds and the help of Mom made it a success. Garrett also found the beach to be a fun place.

Spencer at Fort Columbia

Have you had your V8 today? Spencer needed his at Fort Columbia, used by the military from 1890-1960 to guard the mouth of the Columbia River at the Pacific Ocean between Oregon and Washington.

Cool Whip

Eric and I were in the back of the house when Eric said Spencer is too quiet. So we decided to see whats going on; that's when we found him with the cool whip. I guess he thought that's what he is going to have for breakfast.
